You’re free to mingle, explore the rest of the yacht facilities and amenities and settle in until the evening.

Around sunset, we will meet on deck for a welcome cocktail briefing followed by our first of many gourmet dinners.

Pick from an extensive list of menu options and pair with a drink from the menu.

Before midnight, we will leave San Juan behind and set sail towards St. John Island, in the US Virgin Islands, our fisrt port of call.

OPTIONAL (included): Book your Balinese bed overnight experience and sleep under the stars.

Inclusions: Welcome champagne, reception happy hour party with unlimited drinks and canapes, welcome gourmet dinner. Overnight in your chosen cabin.

Day 2 : St. John – US Virgin Islands

Hours sailing: 9 hours of sailing overnight.

OPTIONAL (included): Get up early to participate in a sunrise yoga and tai chi class on deck as the sun comes up.

We will wake up at Cruz Bay, in beautiful St John Island, US Virgin Islands, a smaller port that the cruise ships do not frequent.

Today is a relaxing day devoted to enjoying life at sea, water sports, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean as voted by many of the expert publications.

If you’re an early riser, enjoy the sunrise with pastries and freshly brewed coffee, a gym or sauna session, or a dip in the pool or jacuzzis.

Breakfast will be served on the open deck.

Pick from the extensive buffet of breads and pastries baked daily, tropical fruits and nuts, cereals, freshly squeezed juices, yogurts, cold cuts, smoked fish and cheese or order from the a la carte menu.

Eggs cooked to order, French toast, Swedish, blueberry or banana pancakes, eggs Benedict, noodles or even steaks can be prepared. You can also select oats any style, chia pudding and so much more.

A selection of teas and coffee with any milk are available to help you kick start the day.

Brief intro to St John: St John was a Danish territory from 1675 to 1917 but British pirates frequented the area which is why English is the official language. Like other parts of the Caribbean, the island became a destination for the enslaved from Africa sent to work on the plantations. A drought and hurricane season in 1733 resulted in the loss of most of the crops and this threatened starvation resulting in a major revolt that lasted for half a year until troops sent from Martinique took back control. Slavery was not made illegal until 1848 when the Danish Government granted everyone freedom. Farming was the main means of subsistence on the island from that point onwards, until the opening of the National park in 1956 and the arrival of tourism. The park takes over two-thirds of the island and keeps St. John untouched and untamed, especially compared to other parts of the USVI.

This morning, we will go on a short hike through the beautiful Virgin Islands National Park to reach Honeymoon Beach, one of the most pristine beaches you have ever seen.

Bring snorkelling gear from the yacht and a towel and enjoy the fluffiest white sand beach.

You can return to the yacht whenever you want, via the same hiking trail, follow other hiking trails through the park or flag an open air taxi to check out Trunk Bay, often named the Best beach in the Caribbean. Here, you can follow an underwater snorkelling trail. The entrance ticket is $10-20.

If you are keen to check out the shopping options, the small town at Cruz Bay has a few stylish shops with beautiful clothing and accessories.

For history buffs, Annaberg plantation has been partially restored and offers an insight into life for the enslaved during colonial times.

Back on the yacht, all non-motorised water sports and the signature slide will be available from the late morning.

Lunch will be served onboard and will consist of a large buffet of healthy, cold and fresh ingredients to make your own salad and an a la carte menu with changing daily specials.

Drinks and an all-day menu of hot dishes are available anytime, in case you are enjoying your time on the beach and want to return after lunch service is over.

Spend the afternoon enjoying the yacht’s amenities, the pool, all the non motorised water sports and the slide.

Sunset drinks and dinner will be served onboard and we will set sail after dinner. The tenders will operate non stop in case of any last minute shore visits.

OPTIONAL (included): Book your Balinese bed overnight experience and sleep under the stars.

Inclusions: Breakfast, lunch and dinner onboard, unlimited drinks. Guided hike to Honeymoon Beach and transfers back to the pier via local open air taxis, access to all non-motorised water sports (weather permitting). Optional visits to Trunk Bay, Annaberg or beyond at own expense during free time.

Day 3 : Anguilla, British Overseas Territory

Hours sailing: No sailing today.

OPTIONAL (included): Get up early to participate in a sunrise yoga and tai chi class on deck as the sun comes up.

We will anchor at Sandy Ground in Anguilla in the early morning in time to make the most of the whole day on the prettiest, most dreamy of all the islands in this part of the Caribbean.

Enjoy sunrise coffee and pastries as we approach the island, or take an early morning swim before breakfast on deck. The same extensive and delicious buffet and a la carte menu will be available.

Anguilla is famous for low-impact, high-end tourism, postcard-perfect white sand beaches and a very laid back attitude. Caribbean chilled out vibes permeate everything here.

Brief intro to Anguilla: It’s said that Columbus sighted the island in 1493 on his second voyage, and gave it its current name because of the island’s eel shape (eel = anguilla in Spanish). Anguilla depends on tourism and offshore banking for its economy.

Because the island lacks an airport, arrival is only possible via ferry from St. Martin making it a harder to reach island that does not receive any of the large cruisehships.

This morning will be all about enjoying the pristine water and balmy weather.

We will make the most of the possibility for motorised sports on Anguilla to pull down the slide and bring out the jetskis, water skis, banana boat, as well as all of the non motorised sports.

If you’re keen to see the island, you can grab one of the bikes and helmets and go explore on your own, or take a taxi and head to famous Shoal Bay beach.

Anguilla also has a golf course where you can tee-off. Previous arrangements can be made by the Concierge.

Lunch will be served onboard and we will head out to nearby Sandy Island in the early afternoon to touch and feel the softest beaches between our toes.

Our yacht will be anchored near Sandy beach, so we will take our zodiacs and step out into this paradise island managed by the head of Anguilla’s women movement.

Get one of their famous rum punches as you step off the zodiac and pick one of the sun beds to make all your Caribbean beach dreams come true.

We will spend the afternoon here enjoying a beach party, with drinks and snacks until sunset.

You can return to the yacht whenever you want, as zodiac service will be offered throughout, but we recommend making the most of what is probably the most beautiful island you have ever seen.

Music will flow and Caribbean flavors will make you hungry for dinner.

At sunset, we will return to the yacht for more drinks and dinner on deck.

OPTIONAL (included): Book your Balinese bed overnight experience and sleep under the stars.

Inclusions: Breakfast, lunch and dinner onboard, unlimited drinks, access to all motorised and non-motorised water sports (weather permitting), sunset beach party at Sandy island with sun loungers, snacks and drinks. Zodiac / tender transfers to / from Sandy Island.

Days 4 : St. Barths, French West Indies

Hours sailing: 2 hours of sailing in the early morning.

OPTIONAL (included): Get up early to participate in a sunrise yoga and tai chi class on deck as the sun comes up.

Saint Barthelemy, more commonly known as St Barth, is the Caribbean’s most fashionable island and something of a myth.

French speaking, low key and with only very few high end boutique resorts, this is the island to see and be seen; At the high-end stores in Gustavia, the beautiful beach clubs and the luxury resorts and villas.

This is where celebrities hang out and leave their super yachts in the winter.

With fewer than 10,000 inhabitants, the island, and its mooring spots, are fully booked at key dates such as New Year’s Eve, when the most up-scale events take place and everyone who is someone wants to be seen on their yacht.

This is where some of the most expensive real estate in the world can be found too.

With such pedigree and prices, you won’t find St Barths in many cruise ship itineraries.

The island is generally accessible by private plane, small propeller flights from nearby islands, very few international flights and by ferry from St. Martin.

Brief intro to St. Barths: This overseas collectivity of France was made famous in the 70s by Rockefeller and Baron de Rotschild who discovered the island and started to come here on vacation. The rest is history. Until 2003, St. Barths was part of Guadaloupe but it voted to secede and became one of the four overseas collectivities that make up the French West Indies, along with Saint Martin, Guadeloupe and Martinique. The island was named after Columbus brother, Bartolomeu, when he sighted it in 1493. Except for a short stint as a Swedish colony, it has mostly remained part of France.

We will sail to St. Barths in the morning from St. Martin and enjoy breakfast on deck as we enter the protected harbour of Gustavia.

We have booked sun loungers for everyone and you will have 100 EUR in credit to use on drinks or food.

We will enjoy our first day on the island by doing what St. Barths does best: beach and shopping.

We will anchor near the pier, take our tenders into town and get on our minibuses towards the town of Sainte-Jean for a morning at one of the most fabulous beach clubs on the island, Gyp Sea.

Stroll the small but famous beach the club is on, take a swim and sway to the tune of the music played by the in-house DJ as you sip on a flamingo drink, a glass of house French rose or a smoothie.

When you are ready, head out to the nearby shopping area where you will find St. Barths prettiest stores selling colorful and tropical-inspired dresses, tshirts and accessories. You won’t be able to resist.

Go back to your sun lounger if you wish to, or take our transfers back to the pier in Gustavia for a stroll, or more shopping.

Browse the cruise collections at Dior, Louis Vuitton and Hermes, all of which have been inspired by the swaying palms trees of St. Barths’ pristine beaches and the shinny super yachts docked at the port of Gustavia, the capital.

We will get back on the yacht to get changed and enjoy sunset cocktails and dinner onboard.

We will spend the night at anchor and tenders will run into the late night to fetch you and back and forth into Gustavia where the night is always young.

OPTIONAL (included): Book your Balinese bed overnight experience and sleep under the stars.

Inclusions: Breakfast and dinner onboard, unlimited drinks and food onboard, sun loungers and $100 credit at Gyp Sea, minibus transfers to / from Gyp Sea, access to all motorised and non-motorised water sports (weather permitting) onboard.

OPTIONAL (additional charge): If you are a wine and champagne connoisseur, St. Barths offers the opportunity to spending time at the only Barons de Rothschild lounge outside of France. This exclusive location in Gustavia, has a premium selection of the best wines and champagnes of this legendary French brand, along with cheese made on site at the estate and flown in to St. Barths just for the lounge. We offer an optional Barons de Rothschild premium wine, champagne and cheese tasting activity that will last 2 hours and will be led by the husband & wife team. The experience can be booked for Day 5 in the afternoon or for Day 6 in the morning.

Day 5 : St. Barths, French West Indies

Hours sailing: No sailing today.

OPTIONAL (included): Get up early to participate in a sunrise yoga and tai chi class on deck as the sun comes up.

St. Barths is so beautiful and amazing that we have decided to spend two days on the island.

Enjoy breakfast on deck with the sea breeze and perhaps join a yoga class.

This is one of the few Caribbean islands were we can use all the motorised sports so today is the time to be a bit more active and enjoy the open water.

After breakfast, join the Cruise Director for a hike starting off in Gustavia and ending at Shell Beach.

Get back on the boat to make the most of a day in the water, or stay onshore for more shopping or independent exploration.

All motorised sports will be available this morning and you will have the chance to try the jetskis, the water skis, and the banana boat.

For less adrenaline-seeking alternatives, there will also be SUP, kayaks and noodles. Take a swim, go down the signature slide or chill in the jacuzzi or by the pool.

This is another great time to book a treatment at the spa.

OPTIONAL: If you are a wine and champagne connoisseur, St. Barths offers the opportunity to spending time at the only Baron do Rothschild lounge outside of France. This exclusive location in Gustavia, has a premium selection of the best wines and champagnes of this legendary French brand, along with cheese made on site at the estate and flown in to St. Barths just for the lounge. We offer an optional Baron de Rothschild premium wine, champagne and cheese tasting activity that will last 2 hours and will be led by the husband & wife team. The experience can be booked for Day 5 in the afternoon or for Day 6 in the morning.

Lunch will be served on deck and you can order drinks anytime.

If you prefer to spend time on land, tenders will be available too.

In the late afternoon, we will take the tenders into town for a glamorous beach party at La Petite Plage, an upscale, bougainvillea-hued restaurant and bar right by the port, with views over the super yachts. The club will open exclusively for us.

Enjoy the mixologist’s famous signature cocktails and the music brought to us by the in-house DJ as the party gets under way and the sun sets.

We will return to the yacht for dinner and more drinks and you will have the evening free to return to port if you wish to, before we set sail towards St Martin.

OPTIONAL (included): Book your Balinese bed overnight experience and sleep under the stars.

Inclusions: Breakfast, lunch and dinner onboard, unlimited drinks, hike to Shell Beach, yoga session on deck, access to all motorised and non-motorised water sports (weather permitting), sunset party at La Petite Plage.

Day 6 : St. Martin, French Overseas Collectivity & St. Maarten, Dutch Caribbean

Hours sailing: 1 hour of sailing in the morning.

OPTIONAL (included): Get up early to participate in a sunrise yoga and tai chi class on deck as the sun comes up.

We will sail to St. Martin in the early morning and anchor in front of Marigot, on the French side.

St. Martin has beautiful beaches but is better known for the mountainous terrain and the richer culture that combines French and Dutch elements.

The island is known as the smallest landmass to consist of two nations and seamlessly combines elements of Europe and the Caribbean like no other island in the region. It will bring a true multicultural aspect to our trip.

Our day will be spent exploring this cultural side, leaving the beach days for the other islands, and immersing ourselves into the island’s Dutch Carnival traditions, its cuisine and its world-famous airport.

Enjoy breakfast onboard before boarding our tenders to the port of Marigot to start our island tour.

Brief intro to St Martin / St Maarten: St Martin / St. Maarten is a divided island, half French Overseas Collectivity and half constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The island has been split since the Treaty of Concordia signed in 1648. While there is no border between the two sides, the French side is technically part of the EU and the Schengen zone while the Dutch side is not, despite being part of the Netherlands. The quirks of this island don’t end here. The official currency is the Netherlands Antillean Guilder (ANG), but this is rarely used other than by Government employees who get paid in it, instead the French side will accept EUR, and ATMs will dispense both USD and EUR while the Dutch side only takes USD and will hand out USD from ATMs. English and English-creole is widely spoken on both sides, but the French part also speaks French. Dutch is rarely spoken. When driving around, make sure your roaming is set correctly to avoid surprises, as both sides have different telecom operators and will charge you different roaming.

We will split into smaller groups and go on an island tour with various stops:

  • The colorful Carnival Museum where you can see the Trinidad-inspired outfits that make St Maarten’s carnival world-famous and learn how the feathers and sequins are attached from the person who makes them. This is the world’s first carnival museum.
  • A female-owned rum distillery that makes both aged rum and flavored rum. We’ll taste a few and you’ll get the chance to purchase a bottle.
  • Three different food spots, including Lolo’s, where will savor a plate of local delicacies: Johnie cakes, BBQ ribs, coleslaw and more, a cheese shop on the Dutch side and a bakery.
  • Maho Beach, to see planes land right above our heads as we sip on a cocktail made with the island’s famous guava berry liqueur.

After the tour ends, we will be dropped off at Marigot where you can do some shopping.

We will return to the yacht to spend the afternoon chilling by the pool, enjoying non-motorised water sports, swimming, relaxing in the jacuzzi, at the spa, the gym or simply reading a book.

If you’d rather have another beach day or want to enjoy the afternoon on the sand, you are never too far from incredible white sand beaches in St. Martin.

Take a taxi to Orient Bay Beach or Grand Case Beach, on the French side, where low-rise resorts and casual laid-back lounge-bars have everything you need for a great beach day.

We will met again in the early evening for sunset cocktails on deck and dinner under the stars.

After dinner, the movie theatre will be set up by the pool and popcorn will complete a quieter evening.

If you’d like to explore the nightlife, St Maarten is the place for it. We will stay at anchor until the early morning and tenders will be available until late. Go bar hopping at Simpson Bay or discover downtown Philipsburg on the Dutch side.

OPTIONAL (included): Book your Balinese bed overnight experience and sleep under the stars.

Inclusions: Breakfast and dinner onboard, unlimited drinks, access to non-motorised water sports (weather permitting). Island tour of both Dutch and French side including street food tour, rum distillery visit and tasting, drink at Maho Beach while plane spotting and entry tickets and tour of the Carnival Museum. Movie under the stars onboard.

Days 7 & 8 : Virgin Gorda & Jost Van Dyke

Hours sailing: 8 hours of sailing overnight.

OPTIONAL (included): Get up early to participate in a sunrise yoga and tai chi class on deck as the sun comes up.

Today, we will sail arrive back north at Virgin Gorda, part of the British Virgin Islands.

Our last day together will be spent entirely at the beach so you go home with an extra dose of sea, sun and sand.

We will start the morning early, after breakfast, to get on the tender and arrive into the port before all the cruise ships do.

Open pick up taxis will be waiting for us to take us to The Baths National Park which consisting of a series of beaches, trails and boulder caves.

We will arrive at the Top of the baths and start our walk down to the first beach, Devil’s Beach.

Because we will start earlier than everyone else to avoid the crowds, we will most likely have this paradisiac spot all to ourselves.

This is one of the nicest beaches in the British Virgin Islands and the clear blue water and boulders flanking the protected bay will only add to its picturesque look.

We will spend an hour here enjoying the beach and the water before getting back on the trail on our way to The baths, a series of paths surrounded by boulders that have at some points, created the feel of a cave.

The short trail will lead us to the final beach, where we will have more free time to relax, have a swim or chill under the shade of a tree.

At around noon, we will walk back up the shortcut to the Top of the baths for a frozen fruit smoothie and last view of this stunning bay.

We will jump back on the open air trucks and take the longer way down to the pier so we can stop at a few view points and spot Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island and Moskito Island and have a bird’s eye view of the entire area.

Back at the pier, the tenders will take us to back onboard for a BBQ lunch on deck as we sail towards Jost van Dyke for a private Champagne & Caviar splash.

In the early afternoon, we will disembark on the famous beach at Jost van Dyke to enjoy a sunset farewell beach party>

We bet it will be the first time you enjoy caviar and champagne with your feet in the Caribbean Sea.

There will be loungers for those who want to take it slow and music to dance to the sunset. Cocktails and bubbly will flow easy.

After the sun has set, we will return to the yacht for our farewell gourmet dinner.

Our farewell reception will start with drinks and canapes on deck followed by one last meal together. Dress code will be “Caribbean sexy” and you are welcome to go wild with your interpretation.

Flower patterns or headpieces, colorful dresses, anything goes to bring the festive atmosphere onboard.

After the dinner, take the tenders back to Jost van Dyke, and party the night away at famous casual beach bars Foxy’s or Corsairs, where the night is young and the party goes until the late night.

If you are keen to check them out, tenders will be available to go on shore before we set sail around midnight.

OPTIONAL (included): Book your Balinese bed overnight experience and sleep under the stars.

On Day 8, we will arrive in Puerto Rico early and have to disembark the yacht by 8am in order to comply with the port authorities requirements.

After disembarkation, you will clear immigration individually and continue with your onward travels.

Inclusions: Breakfast, lunch and farewell dinner onboard, unlimited drinks, excursion to the Baths, Champagne & Caviar splash at Jost van Dyke at sunset. On day 8, breakfast onboard and help with luggage handling and disembarkation.

If you are prone to sea sickness, we recommend booking one of the cabins on the lower level and towards the back of the ship and talking to your doctor before the trip to take the necessary precautions and seasickness medication.

Our sailing boat is not a cruise ship and as such, is not as stable. The waters around Puerto Rico are not calm so you should expect the boat to sway with the waves while sailing, especially on the first and last days.

How does this trip impact the fragile environment of the Caribbean Sea?

We believe in the power of sustainable and responsible tourism as a means to bring prosperity and bridge gaps between cultures and travelers.

We have chosen a small yacht instead of the large cruise companies because of the negative impact they have on the environment and on the islands we will visit when thousands of guests dock at the same time on small island that have limited infrastructure.

Additionally, a small yacht can reach areas that are inaccessible to large cruise companies. We can use ports that are much smaller, and we can access bays and beaches that are beyond the regular cruise schedule. This way, we can also minimise damage to the environment while providing a more exclusive experience.

What should I pack for this adventure?

This trip departs and ends in Puerto Rico and we will be visiting 4 different countries with different visa systems: St Martin is part of the Schengen area, while Saint Maarten has its own separate entry requirements. The US Virgin islands follow the same immigration system as Puerto Rico and the rest of the US and Virgin Gorda and Anguilla are part of the UK. As some of these islands operate as territories of the counties they belong to, they may have different visa requirements and special programs for cruise ship visitors.

Check with the respective embassies and government websites to verify if you need a visa. Most Europeans and North Americans do not need a visa for any of the islands we will visit, with the exception of an ESTA for the US.
